ENGINEERING MILESTONES
Mitsubishi takes pride in being at the forefront of technological innovation. Explore the engineering milestones that have set us apart from the competition and continue to keep us on the cutting edge.
All-Wheel Control (AWC)
All-Wheel Control continually monitors the road and intelligently transfers power to the wheels with the most traction to improve handling in the most challenging conditions, including driving on snow or ice.
Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC)
Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) features four modes: NORMAL for everyday conditions, SNOW for wintry or loose terrain, LOCK for off-road, and the new AWC ECO Mode, which provides the ultimate balance of efficiency and control.
MIVEC Engine Technology (MIVEC)
Mitsubishi's Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control system optimizes valve timing at every speed for the ideal balance of power and fuel efficiency.
INVECS Adaptive Shift Control Technology
Mitsubishi's innovative INVECS Adaptive Shift Control software adapts transmission behavior to most driving conditions. Through advanced electronic programming, INVECS learns your driving habits and responds accordingly by altering shift points. The result is a car that knows how you like to drive and optimizes your experience behind the wheel.
Active Stability and Traction Control (ASC)
A standard safety feature in most Mitsubishi vehicles, Active Stability and Traction Control helps drivers maintain control in adverse driving conditions and during emergency maneuvers. Employing a series of sensors, ASC constantly monitors available traction and alerts the control unit, which works with the vehicle's anti-lock braking system to counteract slipping or loss of control by applying the brakes on specific wheels to help keep the vehicle moving in the intended direction.
MiEV Technology
The result of four decades of research, Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle (MiEV) technology is an integrated management system that constantly monitors and optimizes the flow of energy throughout the car. MiEV technology creates smooth and constant acceleration, distributes incoming energy from the regenerative brakes, and continually regulates the output from the battery.
¹ Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Excludes destination/handling, tax, title, license, dealer charges, and options. While supplies last. Limited availability at participating dealers may require placing an order and could cause a delay in delivery. Retailer price, terms and vehicle availability may vary. See your local Mitsubishi retailer for details.
² Available feature. All-Wheel Control (AWC) is an Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control System that manages the driving forces and braking forces of the four wheels to help realize vehicle behavior that is faithful to the operation by the driver under a variety of driving conditions. AWC is not a substitute for safe and careful driving.
³ Available feature. Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) adds Active Yaw Control (AYC) to realize the AWC concept at a very high level. While this Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Control System manages the driving forces and braking forces of the four wheels to help realize vehicle behavior that is faithful to the operation by the driver under a variety of driving conditions, it is not a substitute for careful driving. S-AWC cannot prevent collisions or loss of traction in all conditions. Exercise caution so your full attention is given to vehicle operation in all road conditions.
⁴ Safety is a two-way street. It requires your attention and cooperation. Please remember to fasten your seat belt, drive responsibly and obey all traffic laws.
